Molly is a Pennsylvania native, who started acting professionally when she was thirteen years old at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater, in The Snow Queen. The Arden Theater production of Into the Woods in 2002, she was awarded a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. In 2002, she performed the same role in Into the Woods in Broadway at the age of fifteen and was awarded a Drama League Award nomination. Molly also performed as a character in Fiddler on the Roof, the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. In 2008, she received her B.A. from Princeton University.
