Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actress, television presenter, artist on record and entrepreneur. Her achievements have been numerous throughout her professional career. Her film career has seen her being nominated for eight PMPC Star Awards in the Films category, and two Gawad Urian Award. Curtis has appeared in a variety of television shows including Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). In Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel she portrayed the Komiks iconic character Dyesebel. Also, she hosted the Showtime noontime program (2009-2010) Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne, Australia on the 17th of February in 1985. She is a Filipina and Australian actor. Her achievements include a host of awards throughout her professional career. There have been two FAMAS Awards have been given to her, along with has the Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. In addition, she was nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards in addition to eight PMPC Star Awards in the films. Curtis has appeared in a number of television series, including Hiram in 2004 and 2005, Kampanerang Kuba Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa The year 2008 Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. She also appeared in 2014 as she was the Komiks icon Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Also, she was the host of It's Showtime, an afternoon variety show (2009-2020). Curtis was born a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan. Her father is an Australian lawyer, James Ernest Curtis Smith. Her father had been married to Ojales before 1982. The older brother Jasmine was also an actor. The father of the couple had an older half-sister known as Clare, who passed away in 2007 at age 4 months of cardiovascular disease.
